Request Account Deletion

Your Right to Erasure
Under Article 17 of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data. Peoplewise Technologies Limited is committed to honouring this right promptly and transparently.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When your deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted or anonymised:
- Your account information (name, email, username, password, date of birth, gender, profession, phone number)
- Your profile information (avatar, biography, location details)
- Your content (posts, comments, poll votes, event RSVPs)
- Your messages and chat history
- Your organisation memberships and role assignments
- Your notification preferences and device tokens
- Your social login associations (Google, Facebook, Apple)
What Data May Be Retained
In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain limited data beyond the deletion period to comply with legal obligations:
- Financial transaction records: retained for up to 7 years as required by law.
- Audit logs: retained for a minimum of 12 months for security and compliance purposes. These logs will be anonymised so they are no longer linked to your identity.
How to Request Deletion
To request the deletion of your account and personal data, please send an email to:
Please include the following information in your email:
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request
- The email address associated with your Mobiliser account
- Your full name as registered on the Platform
- Your username (if known)
Processing Timeline
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving a verified request, in accordance with UK GDPR requirements. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion has been completed.
Before You Request Deletion
Please note the following before submitting your request:
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once processed, your data cannot be recovered.
- If you are an administrator or leader within an organisation, please ensure your responsibilities are transferred before requesting deletion.
- Any active wallet balances should be withdrawn or transferred prior to account deletion.
